Prof. Dave Singh’s pioneering work connects craniofacial development, orthodontics and sleep medicine, including innovations in palatal expansion for obstructive sleep apnea.

Professor Dave Singh is a US citizen who holds three doctorates: Doctor of Dental Medicine; Ph.D. in craniofacial cleft palate development; Doctorate in Orthodontics. During 2020-2025, he was Adjunct Professor, Sleep Medicine, Stanford University, USA. Previously, supported by Harvard University, University of Michigan, and University of Hawaii, he relocated to the Center for Craniofacial Disorders, University of Puerto Rico, USA where he led a NIH-funded program of clinical craniofacial research. He has published over 220 articles in the peer-reviewed medical, dental and orthodontic literature, has published 9 books/chapters and has over 20 US, Canadian, European and international patents. In 2005, he won the First Prize at the International Association for Orthodontics. During 2008-2016, he was the Founder/CEO of his start-up company, which was listed on NASDAQ after its IPO in 2020. He is the inventor of the DNA appliance, the first palatal expander to be FDA cleared for the treatment of obstructive sleep apnea in adults and children. In 2019, he was the recipient of the US Invisible Disabilities Association award and in 2020 was given a lifetime achievement award for his work on obstructive sleep apnea. Currently, Professor Singh is the Founder and CEO of REMA Sleep, Inc.
