Dr. Leon Levitt is a GP and obstetrician with four decades of experience whose work focuses on evidence-based, multidisciplinary assessment and management of infant feeding challenges and tongue-tie.

A Western Australian General Practitioner/ Obstetrician dedicated to fourth trimester care and early parenting ( certified baby whisperer ) with 40 years’ experience caring for babies, children and parents. His parent-focused approach, passion for reducing parental anxiety and evidenced based care, led him to develop protocols for Tongue Tie assessment and treatment and test them in this research focussed upon multidisciplinary assessment and management of feeding issues and Tongue Tie. His focus is the clinical application of this research.

He has a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from the University of Western Australia and Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology Diploma. He is the owner of Grantham House Family Medical Practice in Wembley, Western Australia and Clinical Director and founder of the Baby Steps Health Centre a multidisciplinary centre focussed on early parenting, baby, child and parental needs.

He is the author of ‘What do I do now? The basics of parenting babies… without stress". . .... a publicly available parenting guide. He has led refugee, anti racism and perinatal anxiety charities.
