🇯🇵 Dr. Kazuki Sekiguchi

Dentist

Dr. Kazuki Sekiguchi is a Japanese dentist and educator who combines microscopic dentistry, orofacial myofunctional therapy, orthodontics, nutrition, and a holistic focus on the root causes of functional development.

Dr. Kazuki graduated from Tokyo Dental College in 2005. He studied modern dentistry under Dr. Darryl R. Beach and oral and facial growth under Dr. John Mew. As a general dentist, he treats patients of all ages and categories, from pregnancy through the end of life. He consistently uses a microscope for precise, small-area treatments and strives to take a holistic, comprehensive approach that focuses on the root cause rather than merely treating symptoms. Since then, through the “Life Focus Institute & Academy,” he has continuously held seminar courses in Japan on topics such as microscope, OMT (Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy), orthodontics, and dietary therapy. In 2022, he became one of the board members of the Nippon Pediatric Development Society. Since 2024, he has been writing a monthly series titled “Myofunctional Note” in the *Journal of Clinical Pediatric Dentistry*, focusing on the treatment of malocclusion in children. Since then, he has also been giving international lectures in various locations. In 2027, two books on orthodontics and two books on OMT are scheduled for publication.
