Kate is a Chartered Physiotherapist, IBCLC and Paediatric Feeding Therapist. She trained at the University of Liverpool and worked in Leeds and Southampton, where she led the regional neonatal service for pre-term and high-risk infants, before relocating to Ireland. She is a member of the Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists and registered with CORU, with further training in Feeding Therapy, Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy and Craniosacral Therapy. Justin is a Consultant Paediatrician and IBCLC with over two decades of experience in tongue tie management, and holds Fellowship of the American Laser Study Club. He has developed a structured pathway of care bringing functional frenuloplasty to infants and children from three months of age, refining his technique to CO2 laser for selective fascial release. Together, Kate and Justin co-founded the NTTC in 2017, building on a tongue tie clinic they had run together since 2007, and continue to run this combined pathway in daily practice. They lecture internationally, including at conferences and through their own masterclasses, and have developed the PRIME Feeding Method and Tongue Tie Toolbox education platforms to share their clinical approach with practitioners worldwide.
