Carly Veness is a speech pathologist and IBCLC with more than 20 years of experience in infant and child feeding, combining clinical care, research, education, and relationship-based feeding support.
Carly Veness is a Certified Practising Speech Pathologist and International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) based in Melbourne, Australia, working in both clinical and research roles over the past 20+ years. Carly is the Founder & Principal Speech Pathologist at Babble & Munch Feeding Therapy, a private practice focused on infant and child feeding, and Babble & Munch Learning, an international training and professional support program for health professionals working in paediatric feeding. She is also the Creator & Founder of the Circles to Feeding™ Approach. Carly also holds an appointment at the Royal Women’s Hospital in the Neonatal Intensive & Special Care Unit and has a Graduate Diploma of Infant & Parent Mental Health. She is a published author of peer reviewed articles, and is active in teaching, training and mentoring other speech pathologists, feeding therapists, and health professionals around the world. She has a particular interest and experience in working with babies and children with tongue tie, gastrointestinal conditions such as reflux, eosinophilic oesophagitis and allergy, congenital heart disease, prematurity, growth faltering, developmental delay, breastfeeding difficulties, and tube feeding and tube weaning. Developing and supporting positive, trust-based relationships around feeding is at the centre of all Carly does.
