🇮🇪 Dr. Justin Roche
Kinderarzt
Dr. Justin Roche is a consulting pediatrician and IBCLC with over two decades of experience in the field of tongue-tie issues. He has worked as a consultant in pediatric hospital and community settings and, together with Kate, founded the National Tongue Tie Center in Ireland, where he serves as medical director.
At the National Tongue Tie Center, the team provides interdisciplinary care for infants, children, and adults. They have developed a treatment protocol to perform functional frenuloplasty on infants and children as young as 3 months old. After initially working with scissors and later with a diode laser, he spent years refining his CO2 laser skills to develop surgical techniques that work with the tissue layers to achieve selective fascial release. Justin has completed extensive postgraduate training in the field of tongue-tie, gives international lectures on the subject, and has developed courses to share this knowledge.
