Laser Workshop Campus Photonics by Medixess GmbH

Clinical Relevance of a Triple-Wavelength Diode Laser and a Superpulsed CO₂ Laser in General Dentistry and Oral Surgery

This workshop explores the range of clinical indications for a triple-wavelength diode laser operating at 450, 650 and 810 nm, highlighting the applications this latest-generation system offers in dental practice. We will compare these with the surgical capabilities of our superpulsed CO₂ laser, which has received four Aesthetic Awards. In several countries, this award-winning CO₂ laser is a market leader and is regarded as the gold standard for sublingual fascial release and lingual frenectomy.

In addition to the theoretical presentation, participants will receive educational materials covering wavelengths, clinical indications and absorption characteristics in different biological tissues and materials. Information will also be provided on regulatory approvals for dental use in various countries, Swiss authorised representation (CH-REP) and EUDAMED.

Following the theoretical session, participants will have the opportunity to examine the systems in detail and gain hands-on experience.

By the end of the workshop, participants should have a detailed understanding of the differences between the wavelengths and their respective applications across a range of clinical indications.
