Dr. Tasha Turzo brings decades of expertise in osteopathy and functional dentistry, with a particular focus on craniofacial dysfunction, ALF therapy and TMD.
Dr. Tasha Turzo, DO, FCA, graduated from Western University in Pomona, California, in 1994, where she completed a postgraduate Osteopathic Manual Medicine/Anatomy Fellowship. She completed her internship at the UCSF Family Medicine Residency. She has practiced in private since 1995, offering osteopathy, homeopathy, integrative medicine, prolotherapy/PRP, and specializing in craniofacial dysfunctions. Dr. Turzo has been teaching extensively in the field of craniofacial dysfunctions since 1997. She began co-treating patients with Dr. Nordstrom (creator of the ALF appliances) in 1995. Dr. Turzo is a founding member of AEI (ALF Educational Institute) and has taught 40 courses to date (2025) to osteopaths, dentists, and myofunctional therapists. Dr. Turzo presents three on-demand courses: “The ALF Approach,” “Craniofacial Care: Birth to Adulthood,” and “A Day of Osteopathy.” She administers and teaches The ALF Approach Mentorship Program, an interprofessional online educational platform. She is an internationally recognized expert in osteopathy and functional dentistry, with a focus on Advanced Lightwire Functional (ALF) devices and TMD. Dr. Turzo published her book, "The ALF Approach,” in 2020. Dr. Turzo is also the medical director and coowner of four wellness clinics, BeWell IV/ BeWell Malibu.
